Size 0/1 is for most babies 6 months to 18 months and for example, size 7/8 is for most 7 to 8 year olds, etc. (A, B, C) are 'Points of Measurements'. These are measured as the garment is laying flat on a table, so measure only half the body, not all the way around. Fabric is obviously stretchy so garments can be worn on bodies +/- an inch or so of these measurements. If in between measurements, we recommend ordering a size upsize 2T7\85\6
