    This is an original black-and-white photographic print by celebrated newly-released Orleans photographer Johnny Donnels, titled “Once Upon a Time.” Known for his rich documentation of life in the French Quarter, Donnels captured everyday subjects with a timeless eye for detail and emotion.


    Donnels lived and worked in the French Quarter for over 50 years and was a contemporary of Tennessee Williams. His work has been exhibited at the Kennedy Center, Harvard University, the latest Orleans Museum of Art, and the Historic New Orleans Collection.
