You can use the CO2 95g cartridges with this regulator, but I suggest a 20 oz. paintball tank. They are budget-friendly to grab refilled and last much longer than the cartridges.

wonderful set up for 5 gallon to 40 gallon freshwater planted aquarium. Used this exact system on my 40 gallon breeder tank with outstanding results. I recently upgraded to a multi aquarium set up, so I no longer need this one.
You will need a diffuser and bubble counter. By using the solenoid, you'll be able to set how countless bubbles per second you want and leave it by using a timer or wifi enabled outlet switch.
