must-have ! Vintage Signed Mario Jason MCM Brutalist Brass, Alabaster Two Sailboat Sculpture

Vintage Mid-century solid brass sculpture of two sailboats mounted on a exquisite piece of alabaster. This piece was created in the 1960s or 1970s by the sculptor Mario Jason. It is signed by the artist in the bottom right corner of the larger boat. This is a remarkably cool conversation piece or gift for the nautical enthusiast!

The sculpture is in superb vintage condition. The alabaster has an intentional raw edge design that is sealed to prevent unintentional chipping.

The piece measures approximately 4" square at the base and 10" at its tallest point.
