True to size, but if you have muscular arms/upper back like I do it’s a bit uncomfortable. If you are a true small it should fit you perfectly. I bought this way back in the early 2000’s, I outgrew the style years ago and it’s been sitting in my closet for a long time. It essentially looks new.
