It has a hinge and is cloth lined and belonged to my terrific-aunt who purchased it while traveling in the US in the 1960s.Approx. 6” high, nearly 6.5” wide and 4” deep, the handmade wooden basket has what appear to be old magazine or newspaper clippings throughout the top and sides. A very Americana look with images from a little boy and girl, American flag and toy images.In splendid condition given age.

This one-of-a-kind basket looks enjoy it was originally made to be used as a purse. It has a hinge and is cloth lined and belonged to my fabulous-aunt who purchased it while traveling in the US in the 1960s.

Approx. 6” high, nearly 6.5” wide and 4” deep, the handmade wooden basket has what appear to be old magazine or newspaper clippings throughout the top and sides. A really Americana look with images from a little boy and girl, American flag and toy images.

In magnificent condition given age.
